What is Camp College?
The Banyan Tree Center invites high school students and their parents to attend
“Camp College”. This is a college exploration program that is offered every summer to high school juniors
and seniors.
Camp College
is an all day workshop designed to meet the needs of students and their parents. The workshop sessions are led by over
30 different college and university representatives from across Georgia and the southeast. The goal of the workshop
is to provide valuable firsthand information on admission requirements, writing essays, the college application process as
well as general information about transitioning to college life. In addition, we have representatives from the Georgia
Student Finance Commission presenting on the HOPE Scholarship & Grant, other financial aid, and internet resources such
as GAcollege411. Representatives from the five branches of the military, the military academies, and
the NCAA will also be presenting information to interested students concerning scholarships and the application process.
This is an opportunity you don’t want to miss!
