Clinical Evaluations

A Clinical Evaluation is a Substance Abuse Assessment conducted by a licensed or certified professional who specializes in the field of substance abuse and addiction. In most cases we see, the individual has been mandated to have an evaluation following an alcohol or drug related arrest (i.e. DUI, MIP, Possession,Disorderly Conduct).  The purpose of the evaluation is to determine the most appropriate level of care needed for each individual.

The evaluation consists of a one on one clinical interview, a review of your NEEDS Assessment results from the DUI/Risk Reduction School (if attended), a review of your Lifetime Arrest Report or 7-year DMV Report and any other assessment instruments deemed appropriate by the evaluator to complete a thorough evaluation.

The process generally takes between 60-90 minutes.  In addition an alcohol and drug screen may be given if indicated or requested.  A written evaluation report will be submitted to the individual or agency indicated on the release of information form within seven days of the completion of the evaluation.

CLINICAL EVALUATION FEES:  Alcohol & Drug Evaluations for DUI arrests are $100; all other clinical evaluations are $75.  We offer optional drug screens as part of the evaluation. There is a $20 fee for this service.  Payment is required at the time of service.  We accept cash, check and all major credit cards.
