About Me

Do you struggle with weight loss, emotional eating, sugar addiction, food allergies or cravings? Do you often feel anxious or lethargic? Are you so busy that it's difficult to find time and energy to exercise and eat healthfully? When was the last time you talked with someone about your health and received the personal attention you deserve?

It's rare for anyone to get an hour to discuss their nutrition with a trained professional. As a Certified Health Coach and Registered Yoga Teacher, I am here to create a supportive environment where you can develop a deeper understanding of the foods and lifestyle choices that will help you to thrive physically and emotionally and implement lasting changes that will improve your energy, balance and health.



My Experience

I have been teaching yoga since 2009 and have been health coaching since 2010.  I work with groups and individual clients who are looking to find balance in their lives and feel good in their bodies whether that means losing weight, gaining energy, learning to make healthy food, or all of the above. My Education

I received my training to practice Health Coaching at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, which is the only nutrition school integrating all the different dietary theories and combining the knowledge of traditional philosophies with modern concepts in diet and nutrition.


My yoga practice began in 2001 and I have since practiced a range of styles including Hatha, Vinyasa, Jivamukti, Ashtanga, Kundalini, Bikram, and most recently Sivananda, in which I received my formal certification at Vastu School of Yoga.



What to Expect from Me

I practice a holistic approach to health and wellness, which means that I look at how all areas of your life are connected. Does stress at your job or in your relationship cause you to overeat? Does lack of sleep or low energy prevent you from exercising? As we work together, we look at how all parts of your life affect your health as a whole.


A Health Coach is a wellness guide and supportive mentor. While most dietitians dwell on calories, carbs, fats, proteins, restrictions and lists of good and bad foods, I help my clients create a happy, healthy life in a way that is flexible, fun and free of denial and discipline.


No one diet works for everyone. I will guide you to find the food and lifestyle choices that best support you. I will also help you to make gradual, lifelong changes that enable you to reach your current and future health goals. During our initial consultation we will discuss your unique situation in depth and determine how I can help you reach your personal goals.


Your individualized nutrition program includes...*

Two, one-hour sessions per month

E-mail support between sessions

Educational handouts, food samples, self-care products and other materials



I am available for individual nutritional counseling and private yoga instruction by appointment Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:00am to 8:00pm and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00am to 5:00pm. I also teach group yoga instruction at 6:00pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Please contact our intake coordinator via the Contact Us page to schedule an appointment with me.


*The nutrition program is specific for health coaching. Private yoga sessions do not necessarily follow this format. They can be scheduled on an as-needed/wanted basis.
